Meet Kristine Dias

With 20 years in corporate and consulting HR roles, I’ve supported companies through rapid growth, multi-state expansion, and acquisitions. I’ve built HR functions from the ground up and helped businesses scale - all while staying rooted in values like trust, accountability and respect.

Early on, I realized I wanted to do more than check boxes and hit metrics. My focus became helping leaders lead well - not perfectly (no such thing), but with clarity, ownership, and a real understanding of people.

Now, as the founder of KMD Advisory, I help organizations build HR strategies that actually fit their business and develop people-smart leaders who can navigate the human side of work. I bring a practical, real-world lens to leadership development, shaped by the mistakes I’ve made, the lessons I’ve learned, and the leaders I’ve coached along the way. My approach is direct and grounded - focused on reducing friction, building trust, and making space for growth.

Leadership isn’t theory. It’s showing up, doing the work, and building cultures where people know what’s expected and where they’re going. I work with leaders who want to guide, not rescue, and build teams that truly own their work.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me planning my next trip. Italy, Ireland, Switzerland, and French Polynesia have been highlights so far - with many more on the bucket list! I also serve on the Board of SHRM-GT (Society for Human Resource Management – Greater Tucson) and hold a B.S. in Business Administration, along with PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.
