Hi, I’m Kristine - I help leaders lead well!
Leadership isn’t easy, and most new managers are never really trained for it. They’re promoted because they’re great at their jobs, then suddenly expected to know how to coach, communicate, and lead others - without the tools or support to do it well.
After 20 years in corporate and consulting HR roles, I saw this play out over and over again. I watched talented, capable people struggle not because they didn’t care, but because no one ever showed them how to lead. That’s why I founded KMD Advisory: to help individuals and organizations navigate the human side of work with practical coaching, training, and strategies that turn potential into performance.
My approach is grounded and straightforward. I’ve been in the seat - leading through rapid growth, multi-state expansion, and acquisitions. I know what it’s like to juggle business goals, people needs, and everything in between.
Today, I work with both organizations and individual leaders through coaching, training, and culture development. Whether you’re stepping into your first leadership role or guiding a growing team, I’ll help you turn potential into performance - with skills and habits that last well beyond the session.
Leadership isn’t theory. It’s showing up, doing the work, and cultivating a culture where people understand what’s expected and where they’re going. I partner with leaders and teams who want to guide, not rescue, and who take ownership of their work.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me planning my next adventure. Italy, Ireland, Switzerland, and French Polynesia are highlights so far. I also serve as the Chapter President for SHRM-Greater Tucson and hold a B.S. in Business Administration, along with PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.
